Get to knowĀ Grace

In school, I got in trouble for talking with peopleā€“this feedback appeared on report cards since first grade. Thankfully, teachers also noticedĀ whyĀ I was talking to people ā€“ā€“ I was curious and wanted to connect people. It served me well in later roles, like class president (high school), student government (college), and in studying the arts of interviewing and writing. My playful, gregarious spirit has never left; I've simply pursued and created new outlets for my youthful curiosity and earnestness.

My biggest life lesson: This, too, shall pass.Ā  Everything, whether wonderful or challenging, will eventually end. It's my reminder to be present for moments of contentment and joy and to have patience and resilience through life's hardest moments. Years ago, a friend was going through a particularly challenging time, and I made them a book of art and writing, a beacon of hope and support in the darkness. They got 'This Too Shall Pass' tattooed on their arm, in my handwriting from that book, and ever since I've held it as a light of hope and gratitude I return to in all seasons of my life.

Seeing the impact of my creative workā€“others' expressing the sense of feeling seen, heard, understood, and inspiredā€“ā€“deeply fulfills me. That same creative, heart-centered navigation led me to coaching, and I am excited for the unfolding of new insights and connections each day.
